You’ve nicely captured the benefits of Vocaroo for language learning– for practice and because it affords the vocal opportunity seen as very important by learners.
I’m wondering if you’ve uncovered other audio tools that might also serve this purpose?

Voice thread is also great and much more flexible than Vocaroo with its multi-media approach but it is not free. Audio-only affords a certain amount of privacy, so for that purpose Podomatic could also be good as an audio version of blogging. More specifically there is English Central, pity they don’t do other languages, very helpful for pronunciation though not very creative.

I wasn’t aware of English Central– what a grand resource!
Thanks for sharing–
I wondered if you had used audioboom https://audioboom.com used to be audioboo? I used to recommend it quite regularly as it didn’t disappear as Vocaroo does and had a mobile app component– thinking it was perfect for exit tickets.
